On February 16th, 2007, professional racecar driver, Candyce Marsh will trade in her driving suit for formal attire for the Triangle Urban League's 1st Annual Legends Gala. Marsh will be receiving an award.

"It is such a great honor to recognize by the Triangle Urban League. I am so excited about bring awareness about motor sports and drag racing to such a wide array of people. I am so looking forward to the Legends Gala," states Marsh.

Other awardees include Shirley Ceasar, Dr. LeRoy T. Walker, Dr. Johnnetta B. Cole and other North Carolina residents that have made an impact internationally, nationally, and regionally.
