“Working hard to win in life and in sports has been a personal commitment that I’ve shared for many years,” said Marsh. “The passion I have for racing is what inevitably drives me to the finish line. It takes hard work and dedication.”

Marsh launched her career at an early age. With the guidance of her father, a former racer, Marsh at seventeen years old made her début on the International Hot Rod Association (IHRA) national event tour in the Hot Rod class. After completing two seasons, she was able to gain a substantial amount of driving experience and increased her knowledge of racing. These successes led her towards establishing a name for herself within the racing community. In 2000, she formed Candyce Marsh Racing and aligned her team with industry leaders. Marsh expanded her race program to include a state of the art Electronic Fuel Injection engine prepared by AC Delco sponsored Harold Martin. Marsh then transitioned into the Top Sportsman class, putting her one-step closer to fulfilling her dream of being a professional racecar driver.

Marsh entered the 2005-racing season eager to continue her quest to become a leader within professional motorsports. On the racetrack Marsh and her team qualified in the number 1 position at two national events thundering to speeds in excess of 200 mph in 6 seconds. Additionally, Marsh generated substantial exposure off the racetrack by being featured in newspaper articles, television interviews, car displays, speaking engagements, promotional videos, and awards ceremonies. While Marsh was pleased with her performance, she has even higher ambitions to compete in a professional category called Pro Modified.

In addition to the many advances within motorsports, Marsh has made tremendous strides in achieving her educational goals.
